AI patterns in Angular

23 Oct 2026 · 16:20AWM - Track 2

In this presentation, we will explore the latest advancements in AI for the Angular framework. First, we will learn how to utilize the Angular MCP server to automate processes and implement best practices during development. Next, we will discuss how to integrate Firebase AI Logic to create AI-assisted experiences in web applications. Finally, we will wrap up the presentation by offering tips on how to effectively approach AI in this rapidly evolving landscape.

Taste: A Deep Dive

23 Oct 2026 · 09:45AWM - Track 1

What even is the role of JS anymore? Do we still present users with carousels, tabs, cards, and the regular design primitives we've become familiar with? Or is this evolving? In this talk, we will explore how UX is changing and how to build for the agentic future.

Beyond Linting: Building an AI Code Reviewer Grounded in Architectural Mental Models

23 Oct 2026 · 11:20AWM - Track 2

Most AI code review tools are good at catching bugs and style issues. But they miss a harder question: does this code reflect good architectural decisions, or just working code? This talk explores how to build AI review systems that evaluate decisions like state ownership, component boundaries, and composition — and identify when those decisions signal misunderstanding, not just incorrectness. Using a real system that reviews student pull requests, I’ll show the key design choices: grounding the LLM in curated mental models that encode why patterns matter, using deterministic rules to surface high-confidence signals before the LLM runs, and framing output as coaching questions rather than corrections. Attendees will leave with a concrete framework for building review systems that develop judgment, not just code quality.

The Ultimate Guide to Browser-Based AI: Privacy-First, Offline-Ready, and Fully Future-Proof

23 Oct 2026 · 10:15AWM - Track 2

Generative and intelligent features are quickly becoming a core part of modern web experiences—but they often come with trade-offs: privacy concerns, reliance on internet connectivity, and the cost of using cloud-based APIs. What if you could bring powerful AI directly into the browser, on the user's device? In this session, we’ll explore the full landscape of browser-based AI and machine learning—no servers required. From text generation and image recognition to real-time transcription and offline copilots, the web platform now provides a rich toolbox of APIs and tools to enable truly private, performant, and intelligent experiences.

How AI changes Supply Chain Security

23 Oct 2026 · 10:15AWM - Track 1

Modern software supply chain attacks are no longer limited to malicious npm packages and compromised dependencies. AI coding assistants, autonomous agents, MCP tools, and generated code are becoming part of the development pipeline - often with more trust than traditional dependencies ever had. In this talk, we’ll explore how AI-assisted development introduces a new generation of supply chain risks: hallucinated or malicious packages, poisoned documentation, prompt injection, insecure generated code, and AI-driven dependency trust failures.

WebMCP in Practice: Shipping MCP Servers in the Browser

23 Oct 2026 · 10:45

Every MCP tutorial puts the server on a server. They don't have to. If your app already has the data, the auth, and the UI state, why are you copying it to a backend just so an agent can reach it? WebMCP lets MCP servers run in the browser, right where the user already is. Almost nobody is doing this in production. I am. In this hands-on workshop, we'll build a WebMCP server from scratch in TypeScript and ship it inside a real web app. I'll use Watch Anchor, my production deployment, as the reference case study, then walk you through the architectural decisions, the gotchas, and the parts the documentation doesn't cover yet. You'll leave with a working WebMCP server, a clear sense of when browser-native MCP beats server-side, and the patterns to deploy it in your own app on Monday.
