This talk aims to go through the history of implementing MFEs. From the early days of iframes. To weaving together multiple codebases with Single SPA, to module federation (webpack and rspack) and distribution control, to the now browser native implementations with importmaps We will see examples of implementations, discuss pros and cons and why you may or may not wanna use them.
